This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for June 14, 2008:
Was this question for me!! I LOVE solitude & being alone! the company of people, friends, loved ones, is lovely, but can being overwhelming to me. I am an introvert, & happily so.
In solitude I can hear the whispers of my deepest soul, I can feel a deeper connection to all life.
In the darkest moments, solitude enabled me to face my demons, & come thru bruised, but stronger. I find my creativity when alone, free of the clamour of other peoples energy.
I can't imagine feeling anything, but love for being alone & solitude! I see people close to me who fear being alone, who only see the 'loneliness' of it. I puzzle them, for sure! But, oh solitude, sweet, sweet solitude!
Solitude isn't everyones 'thing', but it is such a gift, & I willingly accept it.
